Q9 Glyph Quick Tips
Principles of Glyph Input Method:There are 9 character features in Q9 Glyph Input Method. If the upper part of a character is divisible into left and right parts, the character is considered to be a compound character. If not, the character is regarded as a simple character.
Simple character
Input method of simple character: Decide the upper part of a character belongs to which feature, and input the character features. Then choose the component most similar to the character features, and press "Confirm". A number of characters will pop up for your choice.
Input method of compound character: Decide the left upper part of a character belongs to which feature, and input the character features. Then choose the component most similar to the left part of the character, and select the right feature most similar to the right part. A number of characters will pop up for your choice.
Q9 specially provides a very simple way to input surnames in order to ease input of address or telephone. Select feature according to the upper or left upper part of the surname, and press "Surname". Then select the surname desired.
Press "Punctuation" to select punctuation or symbol. You can go to the notation selection area by pressing the ellipsis at the right upper corner.
