SUCCESSFULLY PENETRATED INTO PRC MARKET
**SIGNED LICENSING AGREEMENTS WITH FIVE MAJOR MOBILE TELEPHONE MANUFACTURERS**
Q9 Technology Holdings Limited ("Q9" or "the Company"), a company jointly held by Asia Orient Holdings Limited (stock code: 214) and Culturecom Holdings Limited (stock code: 343), announced today the Company has signed licensing agreements with five PRC based mobile telephone manufacturers, namely Hisense Co., Ltd, Xiamen Overseas Chinese Electronic Incorporation Limited, China Kejian Corporation Limited, TCL Holdings Company Limited and ZTE Corporation Mobile Communications Group Shanghai No.2 Research Institute.
Mr. Mark Leung, Chairman of Q9 said, "The growth in mobile handsets is likely to be one of the most important drivers for Q9 CIS and is closely linked with the growth in telecommunications and Internet usage. Q9 has established high market recognition in Hong Kong, it is our long-term goal to penetrate into the PRC market. Q9 has a number of distinct advantages in penetrating mobile telephone's market through its application of matrix mapping system (Q9 CIS) by employing a three by three square matrix. It was designed for inputting characters using a numeric keypad and is particularly suitable for incorporation in mobile telephones.
Q9 has a great potential in penetrating into PRC mobile telephone market. Negotiations and preliminary product evaluation studies on embedding Q9 CIS into different kinds of electronic devices are taking place with a number of international and other PRC based mobile telephone manufacturers and manufacturers of other electronic devices.
